Training Games can be introduces at all levels

There is a myth among a few sections that training games are for the frontline employees alone. This is definitely a myth and needs to be broken. Training games have revolutionized the manner in which a message is to be driven into the participants. So in fact it has to be introduced in the top levels of management to break the myth so that they can communicate to the rest of them about their own experiences and make training games happen.

Top management requires probably training games to relate to their macro level decision making or strategic planning issues whereas training games for the managers who need to get things done need a different set of training games to bring about the necessary cohesion. Essentially training games are focused on making attitudinal changes for the better.

Organizations that introduced training games at all levels have largely benefited. Those who still believe that training games are for the frontline staff has to make a major shift in their perspective and stop making judgments that are grossly wrong. Introduce training games from the top and move downwards to reap the benefits fully. Unless you experience some benefit from it you will not be able to have conviction and hence you may not be able to convince the others below how they will benefit.
